Held June 29-July 1 2003 at The Hood River Inn, Hood River Oregon

The big winter conventions are great, it's true. But many members enjoy the Summer Seminars even more because of their casual family-oriented atmosphere and the ability to talk one-on-one with other photographers about photographic techniques, sales, and marketing ideas. Since this seminar was held at Hood River, members enjoyed both the available river pleasures and a ride on the Mt. Hood railroad train. Thanks to Judy Vallejos for organizing crafts for the photographers children too! Here's a few photos to give you an idea of the fun we had!

Speaker Tim Lynch spoke on digital and the business of photography

Barry Rankin demonstrated how to photograph location portraits using existing light.	Bambi Cantrell shared wedding photography secrets (with the help of the lovely Andy McDavid.)

The karoke party showcased the hidden talents of several of our members, including Eric "Mr. Sensitive" Anundi, Andy "songbird" McDavid, Derrik "Mr. Entertainment" Ollar, and the fabulous "Classic Posers" belting out their rendition of "I Am Woman".  The crowd agreed they should all be sent to Sing Sing.
