Held September 7 – 8, 2003 at Spirit Mountain Casino, Grande Rhonde

The September seminar at Spirit Mountain featured speakers senior portrait innovator Kirk Redlin, a program on digital workflow by Glen Johnson, and a complete presentation on photographing and marketing children's photography by Janel Pahl. But wait - there was more! Besides the usual pro-to-pro networking, we also had a photographer's swap meet and the usual shenanigans by the usual suspects.

The members' swap meet gave everyone an opportunity to get find great values while at the same time getting rid of  old junk. (It just depended on what side of the table you were on!)

One of the big advantages of seminars is that it gives speakers and photographers an opportunity to learn while photographing in what are referred to as "safaris". Listening to lectures is one thing; but you learn so much more when actually being "in the field" (so to speak) with the instructor doing actual photography.

Shhhh...These unsuspecting children have no idea that speaker Janel Pahl, backed up by a herd of eager photographers have spotted them.

And, it just wouldn't be a real PPO seminar without some hair-brained fund-raising event!
